Target Get's it!!
Why do so many people love Target? They get it. They give people what they want and need. Here's a great example of how they give us what we need...TargetLists, the easy-to-use listmaking service that allows you to share your school supply lists with parents and students. A short tutorial will show you how to create your list and make it available for viewing. Get started now with TargetLists, shop for school supplies online and make it easy for your students and parents to help.
Another example: As part of Target's commitment to education, their innovative, one-of-a-kind Target Field Trip Grants program awards as many as 1,600 educators with grants of up to $1,000 each to fund a student field trip. Your class could visit dolphins at the zoo, go behind the scenes at a local theatre, tour a museum and more.
Put it on your calendar to check the Target website in August for information on the 2008-2009 program. Next year Target will make even more Field Trip Grants available for teachers and students across the country.
